Evangelist Sheila A. Simpkins is a native of Quincy, Florida and alumni of Florida A&M University. She is the loving wife of Superintendent Jerald K. Simpkins, Sr., the devoted mother of three children and grandmother of one.

In January 1998, Leading Lady Simpkins assisted her husband in establishing a new ministerial work in Union City, California, the SOLID ROCK Church Of God In Christ. Since that time, the Lord has blessed Solid Rock Church to purchase a wonderful property in Newark, Ca. As the First Lady of Solid Rock Church and President of the Women’s Department she recognizes the challenging issues of life that the Saints face in the world today. She is a wonderfully anointed teacher both in Sunday Morning and Tuesday Evening Bible Study. Evangelist Simpkins is a faithful prayer warrior – conducting weekly Wednesday Prayer and Bible studies at Mid-day. She also serves as a mentor and confidant to many first ladies.

Lady Simpkins is a guiding voice to those in need of a wise word of direction and encourages all with the Word of the Lord, “ Trust in the Lord with all thing heart; and lean not to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.”- Proverbs 3:5-6.

The work of the Leading Lady of Solid Rock Church, Evangelist Sheila A. Simpkins, has ministered to so many of the hurting, discouraged and disillusioned who have crossed her path. The service of the virtuous woman in our Lord’s Kingdom is immeasurable.
